Each session is self-administered and takes approximately 35 minutes and should be done in series of 3 in a one month period of time (once a week for three weeks). In order to cleanse each section of the large intestines properly we suggest using the cleanse more often (3 days in a row). These cleanses should be done seasonally (4 times a year) for best results. This method cleanses the colon without stressing the individual. We provide each client with probiotics and electrolytes immediately following the cleanse. The colon hygienist will examine waste material at the end of each procedure. This assists us in determining how many sessions each individual will need. We are then able to suggest a basic nutritional outline for each individual’s needs. This non-invasive treatment will leave you feeling light, less bloated and energized.

COLON CLEANSING CONTRAINDICATIONS
People with certain medical conditions should NOT undergo colon cleansing unless given approval from their physician. These conditions include the following:
Anemia: Severe
Contraindicated if patient is already at risk of cardiac compromise due to Anemia. They may experience worsening of their Anemia due to secondary uid absorption through the large intestine.
Epilepsy/Seizures
Contraindicated when uncontrolled.
Fissures/Fistulas
Contraindicated if painful and bleeding.
GI Hemorrhage/Perforation
Contraindicated if intestinal perforation.
Hemorrhoids
Contraindicated when excessive bleeding is present.
Hernia: Incarcerated Abdominal
Contraindicated if painful.
Kidney Dialysis
Contraindicated.
Pregnancy
Contraindicated.
Prostatitis
Contraindicated when acute.
Renal Insufficiency
Contraindicated.
Surgery: Recent Abdominal
Contraindicated within 6-months post-surgery. Colon, Rectum, or other abdominal surgery.
Tumors
Contraindicated when it is located in the Rectum or the Colon.
Ulcerative Colitis: Severe
Contraindicated.
Aneurysm
Contraindicated when Aneurysm is located anywhere in the abdominal cavity. Contraindicated when the patient is taking blood thinners (Coumadin with therapeutic levels).
Carcinoma
Contraindicated when Carcinoma is located in the rectum or large intestine.
Cardiac Disease: Severe
(e.g. Uncontrolled Hypertension) The procedure of Colon Hydrotherapy and/or post therapy while someone is using the bathroom to eliminate may raise the patient’s blood pressure creating a contraindication.
Cirrhosis of the Liver Contraindicated.
Congestive Heart Failure
(e.g. Organic Valve Disease) These patients have poorly functioning hearts and cannot tolerate the additional stress on the heart/ uid intake that is absorbed through the large intestine thus creating a contraindication.
Crohn’s Disease Contraindicated when advanced.
Diverticulitis: Acute – Due to (current infection) the in amed colonic mucosa of the intestinal wall has a heightened chance of perforation due to water pressure thus creating a contraindication.

If you are looking to customize your Colenz Session with a therapeutic implant at Cleansing Concepts, we offer Coffee, Aloe Vera, Garlic or Chlorophyll, Detox Clay. An implant is a therapeutic additive that is specially prepared for use after one of your Colenz sessions, to promote colon health. All implants are added at the end of each session. When scheduling your appointment please let the hygienist know, as the process takes 10-15 minutes extra. The investment for a therapeutic implant is $15. If you are a beginner we do not suggest jumping into implants right away. We would like you to get familiar and comfortable with Colenzing first.
